NEW DRACULINO DVD! Vote on the techniques you want to see inside!
I'm working with Draculino on releasing another awesome DVD and would like your opinion on what you'd like to see. There are a couple different options for the subject that the DVD will be about and since sherdog members have supported us from the beginning...I wanted to give you guys a shot at voting on what you want to see in the dvd. It's not often that an old school BJJer does something new and different, and I'm excited about it.
So here are the options. The entire DVD will be based around one of these topics and will include a wide range of information and techniques centered around one of these topics. Please vote by clicking the poll and feel free to leave any information about what you chose and why you want to see it. Thanks guys!
1. Street BJJ
BJJ in a street fight. Submissions, strikes, reversals, counters and survival
2. Conquering the De La Riva
Tips and tricks for blocking and passing De La Riva Guard
3. Half Guard Attacks
Safe no longer - submitting your opponents from inside half guard
EDIT:
Come on guys, lets get some more votes! We are literally going to use this poll to bring to Draculino to decide which techniques we use in the DVD, but only if it is a realistic representation.
Its not often you can talk a guy of his caliber into letting people vote on what they want on HIS dvd. If you guys get behind it, it won't be the last. If we don't get some good iput...we might not be able to do this again.

Does it have to be from those three options. I think a dvd on concepts of passing guard and different guard passes on all kinds of guards would be better rather than just concentrating on the DLR guard.

I would still be interested in seeing some street BJJ from Draculino since he is from an earlier generation than most of the big names nowadays which means he surely had good exposure to that more so than most guys get nowadays. I voted for the DLR option

Yup, that is my vote too. I'll be happy with any topic he chooses, but my personal choice is the street one. I've heard some great street fight stories from him and him hanging out with Renzo and Ryan Gracie. I think he would be cool to hear him share some stories and then also have him share the different techniques and mind sets you need to have in a street fight.
In class when techniques are being done, it is common for him to explain the difference between using the technique on the mat, or on the concrete outside and I think it would be cool to hear these differences and see the tweaks and adjustments to techniques you need to make when you are worried about strikes, other people, concrete etc.
I also think it would be cool to let him talk about myths like his "vs ball grabbers" video. It was really funny, but also really educational. There are a lot of silly things that people think about BJJ and also some things that might NOT be so smart to do on the street...and I would be interested to hear his opinions on these.
That being said, what ever topic he chooses...I know he has some really cool stuff he is going to share and I'm excited to see a DVD on any topic. Every videos he's put out so far has been solid.

That's tough man cause DLR is my weakest guard
Half is my favorite guard
And like Coffee said I'm sure he could show some awesome old school legit street BJJ.

Wow, we actually get to pick what he does the DVD on?
I'm torn, they all sound good. The street stuff sounds interesting, but honestly I don't know anything about Draculino's background in the Vale Tudo and street self defense aspect of BJJ. I'm sure he knows his stuff, but I've never associated him with that side of BJJ much.
The DLR counter stuff could be very useful to me personally. Then again, I've seen some of Drac's half guard attacks and came away impressed, so both of those sound good.
I'll vote half guard.

Dracullino is one of my favourite instructors to watch.
It would be great for my game to get some attacking half guard techniques (which I voted for) but I would def buy the BJJ for the Street DVD. Who could pass up the opportunity to learn from an old school Master BJJ as it was intended to be.

He definitely is associated with it, back when he was training at GB vale tudo was a major part of training. He was there when people were challenging each other and seeing everything unfold in front of him. That coupled with his experience in boxing, muay thai and Judo...he has wide range.
And like I said, he ran around with Ryan and Renzo and I've heard some pretty crazy fight stories.

My second Choice is DLR, because its something Im in a lot. And if I'm not putting someone in it..it wont be long before people are putting me in it. I guess thats true with half guard as well but I have a few more weapons in half guard. So it would be good to add some more to my DLR game.
