Until I see one of these guys actually fight somebody to the death and win using one of their techniques I remain skeptical of videos like this. That being said, if it ever turns out that climbing up a dude like a monkey and throwing a rolling submission is effective in a real life situation I will sign up for classes that day

This is mostly aikido and posturing. There looks like there is some military combatives stuff thrown in. This guy is talented but these are staged. KM is efficient and many of these movements are flamboyant. A friend of mine was a Russian special forces combat trainer. He is a bad man. Engagements last .5 seconds and you have 4-5 knife wounds, broken bones or bullet holes.

Another friend is a cop in Chelsea. He fought in Japan and Taiwan under shotokan rules. He said the best thing he ever did was study aikido for two years. He uses it alot.
