That being said, is anyone kind of put off by Colton Smith facing off against Robert Whittaker? I say this because they're both fresh off TUF wins. Obviously, Smith had more exposure than Whittaker, but usually they try to build these guys up with a "gimme" fight first thing. I guess this will at least guarantee one TUF winner some momentum.

His length and wrestling basically keeps him safe at all times. Even if he were to be nullified by an opponent on the ground (unlikely), he could easily jab-and-run his way to victory.

What's more - Jones already has a killer finishing rate, so he's good enough to just stop most guys.

That means he needs to fight a heavy handed striker who has the speed to close the distance and avoid the takedown.

Any fighters come to mind who can do this?
