Blue Koral New Classic Discontinued?

I was creating an eBay posting to sell my blue Koral New Classic gi and looked on the Koral USA site to copy some info and I found out that they will not be having them in stock anymore.

I'm just curious if anyone knows why? I've tried on the New Classic and an MKM that my friend bought and I lovvve the MKM cut much better. The New Classic was kind of long on my arms and a bit baggier. I wonder if they're going to take it out of circulation because people don't like them as much as the older Classics or something. Maybe they want to focus on their MKM line?

I just checked the site and it turns out the black one is discontinued also, but the white one doesn't have any notice of discontinuation.

The point of this thread? I don't know.

My takedowns are WEAK. However, I do have one move that I use a lot with high success. I basically watched a bunch of different Rodolfo matches and he uses the same judo throw and I copied off of it. I'd love to know the name or see some videos of the move explaining it in depth.

For the first time since 2003 ADCC will not have their top champion as it has just been confirmed by ADCC President Guy Neivens, that multiple times winner Marcelo Garcia will not be competing in ADCC 2013. The four times World ADCC champion at the U76KG category will skip this year as he directs his attention to other business pursuits. Marcelo informed Guy that he is not retiring but this year he has to pass on the competition.

Garcia leaves a big gap in the division as he has won it 4 times and placed 2nd once in the 5 editions he participated. We all understand his focus is different and realistically he has nothing to prove by winning another title, however we all would welcome him back to the ADCC mats whenever he shows up to compete

BJJ timetable for the week

I am looking to start BJJ next week and I've devised a timetable out where I manage to do it 3 times in a 5 day period (I work weekends, I call it my recovery time :P), I wanted to ask what you guys thought about me training 3 times a week?

I also do muay thai 3 times a week and greco roman wrestling on Mondays and Thursdays is wrestling.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated =)

At my gym I study a competitor and spend several weeks getting our class to absorb their complete style and approach from a given position. I documented this approach on my youtube page/sherdog with Marcelo. Im currently doing my homework on Paulo and Joao to be taught following worlds.

Anyway, here is a core position and 2 leg drags they frequently transition to from berimbolo. I feel that this "inverted hooks" position needs a name as it is quite frequently played as a position rather than simply a transition from a berimbolo. My instruction of this position will probably mature as I become more familiar with all the things and entries to this position....but enjoy the early results.

waki gatame legality BJJ

OK so i was watching Shinya aoki's super grappling DVD and i saw this waki-gatame technique in the DVD he says this is illegal technique in judo beacuse of a lot of broken arms, so i wondered is the Bjj/Nogi legal (not that i want to break arms) but instead use to set up take downs and rolling attacks like knee bars.
I am not experienced in judo so what would this be classed as, armpit lock or wrist lock or.....

Armbarred with lots of popping

Was rolling last night with a slightly overzealous partner who hit an armbar and didn't hear me tapping until the 5th or 6th time I'd said it and way after he'd thrown in some serious hip. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me at this point but it felt like it popped 5 or 6 times at least.

Iced it last night, Iced it this morning, and I don't see any significant signs of swelling. It hurts a little if I fully extend my arm and hurts if I grip something and squeeze. In both instances the pain is on the inside of my forearm just below my elbow.

Everything I've read seems to say if it pops 3 times go to the doc, however I don't feel like I'm in *that* much pain.

If you feel popping during an armbar how much pain should you be in if something is seriously wrong? Either way I figured I'd give it a few days to see if its getting better before I go to a doc but I was curious about others experience since this is the first time its ever happened to me.

Got my black belt earlier today. No big deal.

I hope everyone who has ever disagreed with me feels twice as wrong as they normally do (I assume everyone who disagrees with me naturally feels wrong), and everyone who has ever sided with me, well, that was expected so you don't really get anything out of this.

I jest. It's taken me nearly 11 years to make it, but I'm living proof that if you don't die and keep showing up they can't tell you no forever.

This is making the rounds in the picture and multimedia section. Would be curious to know from experienced fighters if they think this could possibly be legit. If so, was the guy in white doing anything wrong or breaking some type of training protocol to cause the reaction from the trainer? I didn't understand, if legit, what the trainer wanted the guy to do - just pretend to sell a move and allow himself to be manhandled or what? Thanks for any opinions on this vid:
